OsiriX Helper
OsiriX helperは、Mac OS X上で動作し、OSの Launch Serviceに対して osirixhelper: から始まるURLに対するサービスを追加する URL Scheme Handler アプリケーションです。DICOMビューア兼データベースであるOsiriXを自動で操作して、ローカルデータベース内での検索を実行します。Mac OS X上で動作する他のアプリケーションから、OsiriXをより有機的に利用することができるようになります。
ファイルメーカーを用いたDICOM画像の教育用データベースのサンプルを同梱しています。
OsiriX 5.9以降、OsiriX本体が患者呼び出しのためにosirix:という独自のURL Scheme Handlerに対応しました。OsiriX Helper 2.0からは検索対象の患者IDをほぼそのままOsiriXのosiriX://に渡す仕様となっており、新規にOsiriX Helperを導入する意味はほとんどなくなりました。新規に患者を表示する前にすべてのウインドウを閉じるなどの動作をするため、若干本家の機能より便利かもしれません。おまけ機能として、患者名を渡されたときはUTF-8に変換して渡す仕様となっていますので、日本語患者名も使用することができます。

What is OsiriX Helper?
OsiriX Helper is a URL scheme handler applet to bridge patient ID from any software to old OsiriX using URL such as osirixhelper://.
Current version of OsiriX has built-in URL scheme handler, therefore it is worthless today.
Our educational system for medical students using OsiriX and this software was prised in Japan Radiology Congress 2009, and it is presented in RSNA 2010.
